Gimli Recreation Centre hosted this year’s Interlake MS Bike Tour event on Aug. 25 and 26.

Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels rode together from Gimli to Dunnottar and back to end multiple sclerosis on Aug. 26. The second day of the ride was much shorter than the first, which included a trip to Camp Morton on Aug. 25.

The MS Bike Tour is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Every year since 1989, cyclists of all ages and fitness levels ride together to end multiple sclerosis. Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world. Funds raised go towards helping to improve the lives of Canadians affected by MS.

Another MS Bike Tour will take place in Manitoba on Sept. 8 and 9 and will be hosted by Riding Mountain National Park.
