The Fisher Branch Chamber of Commerce committee is actively seeking businesses and families to contribute to their 3,600 square foot walkway before their tentative June 15 deadline. Purchasing a commemorative brick with a personalized inscription plus eight other blank bricks for $250 will help build the way to a firmer future for Fisher Branch.
The Chamber of Commerce is promoting local participation to achieve its goal of an architecturally landscaped welcome area started with the building of the monument on June 15, 2015. This initiative has already received $10,000 from the Women’s Institute of Fisher Branch.
One thousand square feet have already been laid in the clearing surrounding the large wagon wheel monument at the corner of highway 233 and highway 17. The pathway project is part of Phase II designed to improve the presence of Fisher Branch in addition to the driveway, greenspace and giant wagon wheel at the entrance to the community.
