Bright main floor adds warmth to Jayman's Istoria

With the attached garage at the back of the home, Jayman Built was able to add design elements to its Istoria 25 model home that make the main floor more bright and airy.

“The rear, double-attached garage allows for more windows and therefore more light to enter your main floor, and the front elevations are unobstructed by the typical look of a garage,” says Dwayne Habib, area sales manager for Jayman in Cornerstone.

The Istoria features two areas for outdoor activities, says Habib.

“An inviting covered front veranda first catches your eye as you approach the home, allowing for a view into the home through the large windows,” he says. “A poured concrete patio makes for a great low-maintenance backyard for you to enjoy, as well.”

Inside are two kitchen areas.

“The open-designed main kitchen features a large island with eating bar that looks out to your backyard,” says Habib. “Off of the primary kitchen is a second spice kitchen with gas stove to help handle the largest of meal prep and keep your primary kitchen clean and free of clutter.

“The dining room is in its own private space near the rear of the home, while the great room takes advantage of the light coming in from the front.”

The home features three bedrooms in its 2,138 sq. ft., with the showhome boasting a developed basement.

“The finished basement adds another 795 square feet of space and is accessible through a separate staircase in the garage,” says Habib. “It features a rec room, oversized wet bar and a bedroom.”

The master bedroom is located on the second level of the two-storey Istoria.

“The spacious master features a luxurious five-piece ensuite to pamper yourself in and a large walk-in closet,” says Habib.
