WATCH THE WAVE: For those who have yet to ‘watch the wave’, the looming September longweekend presents a great chance to take in the Wave Artists’ Studio Tour. The tour is now in its seventh year. It’s basically what is says: a tour of artist studios. The artworks on display range from finely-crafted ornaments to watercolour to pottery to jewellery. And the studios cover a wide geographic area from Stonewall and Lockport north to Arnes and Bifrost. The September long tour runs Sat., Aug. 30, and Sun., Aug. 31.
